Description

Reflecting Galvanometer by H.W. Sullivan, Type M, Suspension Type T2006. Galvanometer is housed in a wooden casing with a hinged lid. A scale to indicate current is located on the front panel of the instrument, above two Bakelite terminals marked 'Galvo'. Two further Bakelite terminals are located on rear of case for powering internal lamp. Components located inside the case are a transformer attached to terminals marked 'Galvo'. A lamp is angled towards transformer, the angle of which is altered via a rotating dial. A concave mirror is held above the lamp, the angle of which is controlled via a rotating Bakelite knob protruding from the side of the instrument's case. A label is attached to the underside of the lid detailing model details.
