Description
Cambridge potentiometer (no. L 446569/5, model 44228) with instruction leaflet. Wooden box jointed box with plastic and metal fittings. Paper and string label on the inside of the box states "Final Inspection" and gives catalogue and serial numbers. Inside of lid has a long metal fixing held in place by two metal screws. This holds a booklet entitled "Instructions for the use and care of Portable Potentiometer Type No 44228. A piece of paper is sellotaped to the inside of the lid "Important The user of this Potentiometer must ascertain that the Suspension Relief LEVER is in the "CLAMP" position before the box-lid is closed. Chief Inspector H.W Sullivan Ltd." Also has a black label to the side "NERG G/127".
