Description

Short Wave Receiver Type 372, with various controls on black vertical front panel in grey metal casing. Five nickel-plated terminals on side (three High Tension, two Low Tension), with Earth, Aerial and two Telephone nickel-plated terminals on front surface. Also on front surface are two half-moon, glass-fronted 'Marconi' display dials marked 'MILLIAMPERES" (scale 0-5) and "VOLTS" (scale 0-8); Reaction and Tuning dials (scales 0-100); min/max volume and potentiometer dials, and off/on rheostat dial. With top tuning? dial marked 15/24, 20/37, 30/60, and 45/100. Hinged metal lid with screw-lock at top.
