Description

Marconi Receiver CR100 (sometimes known as B28 Receiver), in large blue/grey-painted steel casing, with hinged lid on upper exterior surface. With assorted black polished Bakelite dials. With horizontal rotational frequency tuning dial, band change dial and display, aerial trimmer dial, LF gain dial, volume control, two AVC dial controls (one controls upper frequency tuning dial), passband dial, HF gain dial, mains off/on switch and phones terminal. With assorted terminals and plugs at rear including ones for earth, line and mains, amongst others. Lid opens to reveal assorted circuits and valves in interior. Missing identifying and/or maker's plaque.
