Description

Horizontal Compound Microscope with Accessories and Case. A cylindrical pillar can screw into a flat tripod foot or a boss on top of the box. A compass joint at the top of pillar holds an arm to which the mounting for the body is attached. A post with a square cross section hangs below the arm and supports the stage, a rotating disk with five apertures and the plano-concave mirror. The stage can be racked up and down on the post for coarse focusing and a vertical screw on the stage facilitates fine focus. The eyepiece and a draw tube push into the horizontal body at a right angle to the objective mount. A prism is set in the end of the body to direct the light. The accessories with the microscope are stage forceps, two objectives. There are also two simple lenses, and a ring on an arm to mount them on the stand, a bracket, two pins and a small screw.
