Description

A machine used in midwifery to give analgesia. This portable version was designed for domiciliary use and incorporates the cylinder and an orange reservoir bag and Adams valve. On the Adams valve is inscribed 'For N2O only' '8255' 'Patent No 190807' 'A Charles King Ltd'. The case has been removed to show workings. Instrument fixed to black metal base. Used to administer nitrous oxide. Written in black on instrument '10'.
