English gunnery scale or rule for use by artillery. Ivory, with silver cursor. Signed "I Rowley Fecit"; undated; c.1700.

The rule includes scales of elevation and distance for mortars, and the quantity of powder needed (from 13 oz. for a 6-inch mortar, to 31 lb. 4 oz. for a 20-inch mortar), together with scales marked,
