Description

Compound Microscope, manufactured by Henry Crouch. The instrument's The limb is carried on trunnions on a curved tripod base of blackened brass. The body tube slides in a split sleeve for coarse focusing and a micrometre screw on the limb adjusts the fine focus. The eyepiece pushes into a draw tube that extends from the body. The rectangular stage has two spring clips and a rotating disc with four apertures beneath. A concave mirror in a horseshoe mount is set on an arm below the stage.
