Description
Black coated metal casing containing a light source for a microscope. Light source is held in one end of instrument and shines down a cylinder with two aperture size controls. Light shines onto an angled mirror placed beneath a circular glass window. Window is mounted in a semi circular base unit. Clasps on either side of base and two arms mounted above mirror allow a microscope to be mounted on base unit. Unit has three lever operated controls for affecting intensity of light. Two plastic coated power cables are attached to rear of unit.
