Description

Binocular stereoscopic microscope largely of grey stove-enamel steel. Heavy V-shaped foot and short stand with jug-handle type aperture. Large nearly square (115x120 mm) black stage with large circular opening (insert & clamps missing); slides up and down and locks. Sub stage fitting for mirror. Nosepiece that revolves in a vertical plane, with three wide stereoscopic (double) objectives, marked 10/0,08, 4/0,08, 1/0,02. Small block and two shallow cylinders between nosepiece and head. Binocular head, one side with knurled ring, with pair of eyepieces. Stand adjusts in three direction: up and down (coarse focusing) with two knurled knobs and lock, together with back and forth, and side to side, both latter with one knurled knob and micrometre scale.
