Description

Tintmeter or actinometer in the style of a pocket watch. This was used to measure light levels. On the face there is a dial with the different exposure times for light levels and the sensitised piece of paper used to measure the light levels. On the back of the tintmeter there are also suggested exposure lengths for different types of photograph.
