Description
"Balance In metal oval box with 5 weights (4 do not belong to this balance). The balance has metal beam with rounded ends. The two brass pans are attached by twisted golden thread. One weight fits into hole within case, the other four weights are loose. The four loose weights include two trade weights (one possibly a George 1st trade weight with Lincoln Hallmark) and two apothecary weights. Tin case has a hinged lid with black lacquer surface and lined with green fabric.
