Description
Prismatic compass With fitted leather carrying case. Brass compass with hinged inscribed lid. Hinged prism to compass side with brass protector and two coloured glass eye pieces. The leather case has a buckle fastening, flip lid and long adjustable carry strap. 56 Strand was Elliott's address 1850-58.
