Description

Album bound in full leather, with decorative gold tooling. Flyleaf + 3 leaves + 192 leaves of pale brown paper (181 of them numbered) + 3 leaves + flyleaf; 180 of the numbered leaves carry mounted drawings and have tissue protectors.

The album contains 187 original drawings drawn directly from observations through the telescope, mounted on sheets of paper and bound in a large volume in gold-tooled leather.
