Description
Carte de visite (albumen print mounted on card) of two men dressed as a guardsman and a policeman, perched on a table full length, the policeman (right) looking at the guardsman and holding a truncheon. They are of similar appearance, probably brothers, and are either posing in fancy dress or a music hall act in costume. Their trousers and shoes are not part of the costume. No identifying or provenance inscription.
