Description
Albumen print mounted on card, cabinet format. Portrait of Richard Owen, head and shoulders (close, shoulders clipped), looking to left, wearing his skull cap. Owen was the first President of the RMS in 1840-41.
Formerly enclosed loosely in the RMS album of carte de visite portraits (11837), which contains another portrait of Owen where he is younger.
