Description

Albumen print mounted on card. Vertical format. A turned ornamental pillar and base, perhaps meant to represent a candle. One of 15 numbered photographs of turned objects (12731 to 12739, 12741 to 12743, 12785, 12787, 12788), issued by the lathe manufacturers Holtzapffel & Co. as specimens of what could be made on their lathes. The 4 photographs of turned temples (12727 to 12730) are also associated.
