Description
Sixteen small card boxes of Lantern Slides, containing altogether 104 slides. Each box has MS labels or inscriptions, including in several cases the dates 1932, 1939, 1952, and 1953. They are all lantern plate boxes (in which the glass plates were supplied), except the slightly larger pale blue box, which originally contained chemical filters; several filters are used as padding in one of the other boxes. The label of the filter box reads: 'Bowl of Integers & Coxeter's Tetret', the slides including photographs of Soddy's bowl of integer’s device [published 1937]. Fifteen of the sixteen boxes have numbers written on them in pencil.
