Description
Engraving from the Universal Magazine. Shows an orrery (centre) with four cosmological or planetary diagrams and several tables of planetary information. The orrery is a grand orrery with celestial hoops in the style of those made by Thomas Wright and Benjamin Cole {see 93167 - in fact it is copied almost exactly from the Wright/Cole engraving, even to the number 13 on the protruding plates bottom right, except omitting Wright's signature).
Has been folded, so comes from the magazine.
