Description
Engraving from the Universal Magazine. Shows a school-room or lecture room in which a teacher is showing experiments to a group of students, with other instruments including a telescope in the background. The experiments appear to relate to fire, distillation, and ?volatile substances; they are labelled with numbers and so were described in the accompanying article.
Has been folded, so comes from the magazine.
