Description
English, modern plastic ruler, off white in colour, made for the National Physical Laboratory, 12 inches in length. It was adapted by Mr Whillock by adding a paper scale over upper-side inch scale to adapt it to ‘metric foot’, captioned ‘Metric Foot’ & divided into 12 metric inches [seemingly not accurately, if intended to be 25mm, they’re c.24mm], the inch at either end subdivided in 10ths & 8ths.
