Description
An electromechanical device used by behavourial scientists to record rates of responding to a stumulus and reward by rats. A lightweight metal box is covered with a textured blue laminant except for the front control panel. In a cut-out at the center of this panel the recording paper is fed over a cylinder, where the stylus makes contact, and then out of the machine for collection. To the left of the paper roll is a modular plug-in panel for various components. No cables or other accessories are present. The instrument is listed in an accompanying manufacturer's catalogue dated 1969.
