Wooden containg boxes of slides.

A large wooden box containing 24 card boxes containing 225 glass negatives and 3 paper packets containing 11 glass negatives, 236 in total. The card boxes are in a variety of sizes and have a variety of trade labels. The glass slides show images relating to the scientific equipment in the collection. The large box does not have a lid and the joins between the panels are held together with metal folded around them and then nailed into place. One of the paper envelopes is addressed to Sherwood Taylor.
