Description
Set of seven wood slide cases shaped as a book with red binding. One located in basement gallery, six at store. All cases have four rows for slides capable of holding six slides each. The six cases in store have 57 slides in total (one broken). Slides mounted in brass copper alloy clips with Latin descriptions underneath. Front covers state, "Anatomia plantarum microscopica." in gold embossed letters. Inscription on bindings state "Initia anat. mic. Tom II.", "Biolog. cellul." "Elemen mycolo. Tom I." "Elemen mycolo. Tom II." "Gymnospermae." "Angiospermae." All cases have the same dimensions.
