Description
Hydrographic and surveying instrument for locating a ship's position on a sea chart from the measured angles between three landmarks. Consists of a central protracting ring with three radiating arms, each with a detachable extension. One arm is fixed at 0 degrees, the other two rotate and have a clamp and screw motion with vernier. The instrument has a fitted case.
