Description
Large rectangular wooden box with a hinged lid and two hook latches. Interior has recessed to accept tubes and two removable divider/ guards.
Contains the listed items:
(1) Clear transparent glass tube with a spout at one end. Slight bulge near other end of tube, internal tubular glass structure. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops.
(2) Clear transparent glass tube with a spout at one end. Slight bulge near other end of tube, internal tubular glass structure. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops. Paper sticker near spout reading: "H.J.J.M."
(3) Clear transparent glass tube with a spout at one end. Slight bulge near other end of tube, internal tubular glass structure. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops.
(4) Clear transparent glass tube which narrows in the middle section with a spout at one end. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops. Sticker at spout end.
(5) Glass tube which narrows at the middle section with a glass spout at one end. Looped metal caps at each end. Sticker on non-spout end reading: "H".
(6) Glass tube which narrows at the middle section with a glass spout sealed with black plastic at one end. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops. Sticker on spout end reading; "N".
(7) Glass test tube with flared opening. Contains a handwritten paper note reading; "Nitrogen obtained from air outside laboratory 14 September /88 [unintelligible]". Cotton wadding in bottom of tube.
(8) Large glass tube with a tear drop shape at one end and a sphere at the other end. Spout coming off the sphere. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops.
(9) Glass tune with point at one end and sphere near other end. Glass spout near tip of sphere end. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops. Internal glass structure with a tube, an oval, and a green glass vase shape. White glass armature loose inside.
(10) Large glass tube with rounded ends. Internal metal rods at each end, one terminating in an external loop. Spout at one end with red plastic seal. Hole at other end. Seam in the middle where an internal glass test tube-like structure is attached.
