Description

Large. shallow, rectangular wooden box with a lid that lifts off. Tack on lid holding a paper label in place: "Geissler Tubes (4 C.P.). A second label reading: "Geissler Tubes) tacked to the side of the lid.

Containing the listed items:

(1) Glass tube with spherical ends with varied tube diameter: narrowest in the centre. Small glass spout coming off of one sphere, with a black, plastic seal. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops. Octagonal sticker in one end.

(2) Glass tube that narrows at the middle. Small spout with red plastic seal at one end. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops. Remnants of a sticker on one end.

(3) Glass tube that narrows at the middle. Small glass spout on one end (closed). Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops.

(4) Glass tube that narrows at the middle. Small spout with red plastic seal at one end. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops. Minor remnants of a sticker on one end.

(5) Glass tube that narrows at the middle. Small spout with red plastic seal at one end. Internal metal rods at each end, terminating in external loops. Remnants of a stickers on one end.
