Description

Folding, flat tripod base with a plano-concave mirror mounted on one foot. A turned brass pillar supports the limb on a compass joint. The limb has a square cross section and condenser lens is fixed to the lower end. Rackwork cut into the rear face of the limb moves the rectangular stage for focusing. A brass ring mounted on the stage can grip specimens. A groove cut across the centre of the stage allows tubes to be secured. An arm holding the body tube (.4) is attached to the limb by a screw. Below the body six objectives are held on a click-stop revolving disc. Has modern black sticker attached reading '366'.

Convex magnifying lens with copper alloy surround, which can be screwed into body tube.

Eyepiece lens which screws into part .2

Body tube forming conical base which attaches to arm above six objective click-stop revolving disc.
