Description
The shagreen outer cylinder stands on a brass foot and has a brass ring at the top. A section is cut away to allow access to the circular brass stage and below is a hole to allow light to the plane substage mirror. The inner tube is covered with green vellum and has a lignum vitae eyepiece and snout. The objective mounting is brass as is the sliding dust cover.
