Description
A cylindrical pillar rises from a flat tripod foot. A compass joint at the top of the pillar supports a copper alloy frame which holds the body tube and stage. The tube is held by copper alloy segments covered with leather. A rack and pinion within the frame operated by a single triple mill-edged knob, moves the optical tube for focusing. An arm attached to the lower end of the frame extends below the stage and holds a five aperture disc and a mount with two concave mirrors, on sliding sleeves.
