Description

Simple microscope. A cylindrical pillar stands on the edge of a circular base. The stage plate is set at the top of the pillar. It has a recessed hole and two pinholes. A rack and pinion mechanism, operated by a mill-edged knob, raises a bar from within the limb. An arm with a split ring, to hold lenses, is mounted at the top of the bar.
