Description
Simple microscope. This copper alloy instrument stands on an oval base with a plano-concave mirror mounted at its centre. Four objectives are held in sockets on the base. An arm with a threaded ring is attached to the top of the cylindrical pillar. The stage is carried on a sleeve that can be racked up and down on the pillar for focusing. It has two pinholes and a leaf spring is attached to its underside. The body tube is missing.
