Description

Wooden hinged case with a lock closing mechanism.  Inside, the box is lined with purple velvet and there are velvet covered inserts for storing the enema syringe.  These hold the main body of the syringe, which is pewter with a wooden handled plunger; it also has two nozzles which can accommodate other attachments.  A string-lined tube with metal fittings on either end, which can be screwed onto the main body of the syringe.  An ivory attachment with a right-angle joint; the shorter arm of the attachment has string wrapped around it.  A straight ivory attachment; the part which slots into the instrument has string wrapped around it, which is covered with paper.
