Dial (Index) Type Toy Typewriter

Typewriter with a tilted metal dial with letters around the rim of the dial and another set of more visible letters on top of the dial, which can be rotated using a wooden knob. There is an arrow on top of the dial, which points to the selected letter. The dial can then be lowered to the paper by pushing down on the wooden knob. The metal of the machine is painted green, with the exception of the copper alloy attachments. There is a wooden platen. The machine is mounted on a rectangular wooden block and has a rounded lid made of thin wood and lined with card, with a metal handle on top.
