Description

This wooden instrument stands on a circular stage on three short turned legs. Below the stage are two copper alloy wires to secure slides. The body tube, mounted on the stage, is covered orange, in diamond patterned paper. The wooden draw tube has two ebony collars. One of these and the nosepiece are detached, suggesting another tube may have been present. The eye lens has an ebony dust cover.
