Description

The plane mirror is housed in a wooden cell with a square cross section. Its angle is adjusted by wooden disks on either side (which are not original). Above the level of the mirror are slots to hold sliders. The body consists of two pasteboard tubes, covered with decorated paper, that push together and into the mounting on the top of the cell. The lenses are held in place with copper alloy split and the eyepiece and objective have screw on dust covers of polished wood.
