Description
The flat fixed tripod foot supports a telescoping pillar conected to the limb by a compass joint. The mechanical stage is to the pattern of Edmund Turrell and the body-tube has a Huygenian eyepiece.
The wooden case also contains, an eyepiece, an eyecup, a Lieberkuhn in a can, a small angled mirror in a can, a sprung phial holder, two specimen chambers on brass plates, a brass case for mica discs, four stage discs, three dark wells and a substage holder, stage forceps, brass forceps, a double articulated arm and a tightening key for the compass joint.
