Description

Copper alloy Culpeper-type microscope supported by two sets of copper alloy scroll legs with a bull's-eye lens fitted into the stage, the microscope is mounted on a mahogany platform with a drawer in the base. Inside the drawer are accessories comprising an ivory talc box, five objectives, a cone condenser, a fishplate, forceps, a paintbrush, an eyepiece lens, a Lieberkühn carrier, a Lieberkühn in a can. two live boxes, a specimen chamber, and a moss specimen wrapped in paper. The microscope and its accessories are stored in a mahogany pyramid box which has a drawer in the base containing six ivory sliders and five glass discs wrapped in paper.
