Simple Viewer in Case, English, second or third quarter 19th Century

Two low-power lenses set in a copper alloy collar on a glass cylinder fits onto a second copper alloy cylinder with a plane glass bottom. An Iron rod runs across the lower cylinder carrying a large beetle. The rod can be rotated by a small copper alloy knob. The arrangement fits into a cylindrical wooden case covered with red leather.
