Description

Hydrostatic balance consisting of a circular base with a glass pillar. A metal balancing arm balances upon a resin block which pushes onto the top of the glass pillar. The instrument has three rounded platforms which can be attached to either side of the balancing arm and loaded with weights or attached to further accessories.

The instrument is stored in a wooden box with four green felt lined compartments. The following accessories are present: Four disc shaped weights, two conical glass shaped weights, and a conical shaped glass container.
