Hydrostatic Balance in Case, by Ramsden, English, 18th Century

Hydrostatic balance housed in a leather covered case with a green velvet lining. Balance consists of two arms extending from a cross beam. A circular collar with screw fastening is located on the cross beam. Also present in the case are two spherical steel weights and a copper alloy hook.
