Description
Small oval board and frame. Painting is in oil paint, on canvas mounted on board. The painting has been varnished and both the paint and the varnish have craquelure pattern. The reverse is covered by brown packing paper and two copper alloy eye hooks and a copper alloy hanging wire. A label has been lost or removed as evidenced by the remnants of adhesive. An older label (the packing paper has been cut to reveal this earlier label) has a medical cutting which refers to a publication by Lucas.
