Description
Copper alloy balance for measuring the density/ gravity of a liquid. Instrument has a U-shaped balance which pushes into a circular weighted base. A balancing arm sits horizontally on U-shaped balance. A hook attached to the balancing arm allows a plummet to be attached. The instrument is held in a wooden case along with the card cases for a plummet and a 'Conway Stewart Pen'. Also present in case is an additional hook and a wire basket.
