Description
Hemi-spherical wooden weighing balance. Instrument has a horizontal cross beam with three spokes extending outwards towards hemi-spherical arch, dividing instrument into three segments. Instrument has two gradated scales, one scale runs the length of hemi-spherical arch, a secondary ached scale spans the instrument's third segment. Three rounded divots are found on horizontal cross beam. A metal hook for hanging the instrument is attached to the wooden cross beam. A lead weight is located in the rounded end of the horizontal beam.
