Brass. Signed, "J. Sisson LONDON.". Undated; c.1730.
This instrument is divided to half-degrees. Jonathan Sisson (?1694-1749), a maker of optical and mathematical instruments, "was considered specially adept at the precise divisions of scales". (Taylor, Math. Pract., 306)
