Description

Part of the boxed set 69649. A sample issued by E. Sanger Shepherd & Co., who launched their process of colour photography in 1899-1900. Both Henry Minn and Miss Acland (whose photographs were bequeathed to Minn) possessed Sanger Shepherd sample and demonstration slides, as well as using the process themselves. This slide belonged to Miss Acland, and was used by her in one of her lectures in 1900.
