Stereoscopic daguerreotype, enclosed in black tape and black mat with gold borders. An arrangement of chemical or pharmaceutical items, including retort, receiving vessel, test tubes and other glass tubes, filter funnels, mortar and pestle, in front of shelves of chemical bottles and jars. Good stereoscopic effect. No markings, but probably French (the gold border being typical).
