Description

Carte de visite (albumen print mounted on card) of Charles Daubeny, seated full length, turned to left but looking front, his right foot on an upholstered footstool and his right arm resting on a book on a table. A top hat is also partly visible on the table left, and a curtain and pedestal are behind him to the right. The chair is an interesting modern rustic wooden chair of arts-and-crafts appearance. Image speckled. It seems to have been removed from an album, with paper and adhesive on left edge of photograph and on back.
