Description
Albumen print (from a wet collodion glass negative) of a bronze bust of Captain Francis Fowke (1823-1865), original architect of the Victoria and Albert Museum. It is presumably the gilt bronze bust in the Victoria and Albert Museum, made in 1866 by Elkington & Co., modelled by Thomas Woolner.
