Description
Wood-framed hand painted lantern slide with painted image of a seascape and lighthouse with two figures with telescopes looking along two drawn perspective lines and three boats diminishing in size in the perspective. The frame is stamped with Newton the maker's mark and has a paper label marked "1" and another blank paper label both on the side. The top edge of the frame reads "11" and "a/h Figure of the Earth" - both written in ink.
